Threesome Contest!!!
Here is something a little bit interesting for all of you. I would like to announce that zakiyamani.com have collaborated with azwanhadzree.com and blogjer.com to launch the spermtastic “Threesome Contest”.
In this contest, we will work together to reward our top 3 top commentators from each blog a special review. All top 3 top commentators will get a combine 300 ++ words review among each other in a single entry tentatively in the first week of April 2008. There will be a link to the top commentators blog or site and this will definitely boost your traffic. This is how it work:
Top 3 top commentators in azwanhadzree.com blog will be reviewed by zakiyamani.com.
Top 3 top commentators in zakiyamani.com blog will be reviewed by blogjer.com.
Top 3 top commentators in blogjer.com blog will be reviewed by azwanhadzree.com.
We are free to comment the top 3 commentators blog or site in our own best honest opinion.
If in case the top 3 top commentators is earned by the same person, we’ll still review the same winner in our post.
Example: If “Madonna” becomes the top commentator #1 in azwanhadzree.com, #2 in blogjer.com and # 2 in zakiyamani.com; all of us will review her blog or site. This means she will get three reviews from 3 different English blogs. Isn’t it cool when three English blogs make a review of your site?

ha .. ha .. ha .. so .. readers of zaki yamani’s .. what are you waiting for. 3 reviews from a PR3, a PR4 and a PR0 ( 
was PR4) blogs.
If done correctly, a PR0 blog could be able to get to PR3 in the next Google PR update …
and of course, if i’m a top commentator in Zaki’s blog for March 2008, he will just ignore mine, the next in line will get into the list.

Thats super cool. But I dont think comment should be primarily judged by the number, it should be based on quality of information they’re sharing.
One could just post a-one-liner and be rank #1 in all blogs.
Just a thought eh, perhaps you could introduce another category, Quality Commentator?

Azwan, even though your blog has PR0, based on the number of comments that your blog received, you has more visitors and your visitors are talkative.
NoktahHitam- I agree with you, but it is tedious task I have to say, I’ll simply rely on top commentator plugin. At least at the moment before I have enough bandwidth to do something better
Perhaps we can pull the comment from the mysql database and filter that comment must meet certain length before eligible to be counted.
I’m not really familiar with mySQL and wordpress db structure and also what is the datatype of comments though, char or blob??

Thanks for the precious input. We’ve thought about that. However, we’ve decided to just kick start Threesome Contest and see how it goes about. We’ll gather all responds & feedbacks and think of something to improve the situation. We really appreciate your brilliant comment

If you’re referring to Zakiyamani.com, Azwanhadzree.com and Blogjer.com, then the answer is no. We’re not going to review our own self. If in case, we become top 3, we’ll skip ourselves and let the next person earn that position.

blogjer – Well, the top commentator can be tweaked, but it’ll take a lot time. Best to use char than blob. I’d take 160 char just like SMS.
