Somebody Evil Attempted to Steal My Car
I brought my family to Jusco Tebrau City Johor Bahru this afternoon. To our surprise, there were a lot of cars queuing to enter the Jusco parking lot in all entries (today is a public holiday in Johor). Experiencing difficulty in searching parking space last Sunday, I decided not to enter the parking lot this time because the amount of cars pouring in were definitely more. I parked just outside the parking lot and walked inside Jusco feeling relieved.
At 6 pm, we headed to our car and suddenly as I was opening my door, I was shocked at the sight of it. Its handle/knob was broken and part of it was missing. Looks like somebody evil has been trying very hard to open the door and steal the car or any valuables in my car. I guess somebody civic and with a good heart might have said something to the evil guy or he was just scared by the sight of somebody coming towards him.
Whatever it is, we were lucky weren’t we. I just couldn’t imagine if we lost this family car of ours. It is just a very comfortable and spacious car with excellent absorber. We just love it. Thank goodness Allah still protects us from the ‘musibah’ (tragedy). Alhamdulillah.

@ NoktahHitam,
Yes, agreed. We’ll be more careful next time. To add up to the moral of the story:
4 – Ensure nothing precious are kep inside the car or exposed inside the car.
5 – Put extra steering lock to demotivate potential steeler from intruding the car.
@ Megat,
Shukur alhamdulillah. If not pening kepala den
@ Bent,
Ye…we’ll be definitely more careful next time.

@ Azwan,
Yes, after this I’m not going to take any more risk. Need to pay out some money to repair it.

@ titan,
Good idea but that would not serve the purpose of having a car. Most important thing is the protection of the car. Point like what NoktahHitam and myself have provided up there should not be taken for granted. i hope my story will be a lesson to all of us.
@ Mael,
Ye, that’s very true mael.

I believe the moral of the story:
1 – park car inside
2 – dont go out during holiday (crowded)
3 – spend time at home during holiday
easy for me to say, i dont work on weekdays.
