Are you looking forward for EURO 2008? Well, I am, but I don’t really feel the heat and excitement like previous European games before…

Euro 2008 is just around the corner. I’m one of those football fan who always look forward for great heavy weight matches like this. However, since England failed to qualify for Euro 2008 final last year, it was a massive blow for all their fans. There are millions of England supporters worldwide who now do not know who to support! (including myself)… There are a lot of England supporters who now do not look forward to be a spectator of the great Euro 2008 because their favourite team is not qualified.

Being a lover of the English Premier League, indirectly, I support England as a team. However, I guess now I need to support a new team… I’m not sure yet which country to support. France…. I don’t like Thierry Henry… No way… What about Portugal? Not really, although Christiano Ronaldo is featured… I don’t really like him as an individual. I just happen to like him because he played and contributed for Manchester United big time. What about Spain? Hmm…. not really…

I’m thinking of supporting Holland or Russia. I don’t have specific reasons but let’s just see how it goes. What about you? Which team do you support? Or which team you think will be the new European Champion?

It has been a while since I posted my last entry. I did mentioned before that I hate the word “busy”, but now, I have to admit that I’m a little bit busy… ops…. I used that word for myself…. Sorry…

There’s a lot of thing happening around me. One of the most important thing is I’m going to quit my job as an engineer… I have surrendered my resignation notice to my boss and the human resource department. It was a paradoxical emotion but this is what I wanted all this while. Everybody around me congratulated me for my new job and career. I’m so delighted, I’m so thankful to God Almighty for giving me a chance to pursue myself in a new career. It is definitely a better job and a better prospect.

What is my new job? Anybody knows?

Wow…. it was really a game packed with surprises. I don’t care… The most important thing is Anelka missed the penalty and that was already enough to allow Manchester United to lift the European Champion League Trophy for the 3rd time… Glory – glory Man United….

Home made soya sourced chicken for chicken rice. My wife is really good in making them… As a result, I ate too much and could not move after that…

In conjunction with our 7th anniversary, mother’ day and her birthday (all within one month), I bought her a hand phone. Initially she wanted one item per occasion: a novel, a massage session and a perfume. However, after she saw the gerseous red colour Samsung D830, she wanted that hand phone. So, yesterday, we went to Samsung outlet at Jusco and took a closer look on the hand phone. However, after checking the flip hand phone, the speaker position made the phone sound weak. It’s going to be difficult to hear the hand phone when it rings. So, she canceled her plan to get a D830. Instead, she was so fascinated with the sleek Samsung U700. To make things short, I purchased that hand phone as a gift for her….

We had a great lunch few Saturdays ago to celebrate a colleague who just got promoted. We ate at a restaurant called Latios at Kompleks Pasir Gudang, Johor.

Yes!!! Manchester United successfully won the English Barclay Premier League for the 10th time. Thanks to a relaxed penalty by Ronaldo and a comfortable Ryan Gigss 81st minute goal. Manchester 2-Wigan 0. Well done…!!! Chealsea, Arsenal and Liverpool can try again next season. Now, our focus is to win the European Champions League title. I never ever expected my office mate to buy a birthday cake. They said that they want to buy the cake and want to sing happy birthday to me in the morning meeting… Luckily that did not happen…

So, the boss when out from the office to attend a meeting. At 10am, the cake box was opened and the candle was positioned on the cake. Nobody in the production office smoke, so, one of my colleague have to search for a lighter at the electrical workshop.

So, there were 3 big candles and 2 small candles symbolizing the number 32.

This is a slice of the blueberry cheese cake. It was very good but it still cannot challenge the Secret Recipe’s Cheese Cake. However, I was so overwhelmed with my friends for celebrating my birthday. Thanks guys…

A lot of wonderful birthday wishes…

I was surprised with the number of people wishing me happy birthday. Perhaps part of it is definitely because of the technology…  The “happy birthday” message was conveyed by:

1. Direct face to face wish – my wife… of course… who else…

2. Telephone call – did received some calls…

3. SMS – Most of it came from my family member

4. Emails – Some of my friends sent it to me.

5. Facebook – There’s a lot of it pouring in my account. Did received some virtual birthday cards in the Facebook. Thanks…

6. Blog – Some of you did wish me inside this blog… cool…

Birthday Present 

I haven’t decided what to get from my birthday. I’m now thinking of getting myself a perfume… If that is so, I may ask for Issey Miyaki. I’ve been using that for a long time and that’s my favourite perfume.

This will be very brief… I’m so exhausted…

1. I appreciate various ideas on what should my wife buy me for my birthday… However, I still don’t know what I want. I already informed my wife to hold on and don’t buy anything yet. I will have to think of it first. However, the most important thing that I want is for everybody to be healthy and carry on live peacefully

2.  I created a group in FACEBOOK. I know a lot of you might not be interested because it is related to my niche: Chemical Engineering…. The group is called “Chemical Engineer Rocks!“… so if you are interested to join, you are welcome aboard . I created the group yesterday night, and 24 hours later (now), I have 7 new members. Wow…

3.  We just had our first proof reading customer few days ago. My other half have digested and proof read the documents and returned it back to the client within 2-3 days only. We are very pleased with our first task and we are looking forward to serve more clients. If you have any documents, reports, technical paper, thesis or anything that you want us to proof read, or translate BM-BI-BM… please, don’t hesitate to contact us….

4.  I’m drowned in seas of internet marketing information… and I don’t have enough time to consume all those informations. I wish I can take a month break from work, stay at home and read those e-books, watch those videos and listen to the audios…
