IELTS Course
For your information, I have to attend a 5 day course of IELTS. What is IELTS?
In short, it is the abbreviation of “International English Language Testing System“. It is compulsory for me to sit for an IELTS test as soon as possible as part of the requirement for my pH.D studies next year. The IELTS test fees is RM540 if I’m not mistaken. I have taken similar test 12 years ago as a requirement to go to University of Bradford, United Kingdom for my chemical engineering undergraduate degree. I scored 6.5 that time and that’s the minimum requirement. Now, I only have to score 5.0 points because that’s the minimum requirement set for any post graduate students enrolling in the local universities. I hope I can maintain or improve my IELTS score.
For those of you who are not familiar with IELTS, let me just give you a little bit of explanation. As mentioned above, IELTS is the International English Language Testing System. It measures ability to communicate in English across all four language skills – listening, reading, writing and speaking – for people who intend to study or work where English is the language of communication.

Ha ha…. the three paragraphs above are not my own words. They are adopted from ielts.org – the official IELTS website. For your info, there is no pass or fail for IELTS. They give us a band score and it range from 1 to 9. That means, if one get a band of 9.0, he or she is damn powerful in English.
Then what about 1119 which some students are also taking? I’ll let that be a mystery for you for the time being. If you are dilligent, you can google some information. I scored P7 for my English 1119 15 years ago…

huhhuuu…dont said ‘suri rumah terdesak’…just woman know why they become desprate!but not at all in the movie is right..thats is ‘cara barat’ life…if at malaysia..theres is many why woman become desprate..hi hi hi

Normally 1119 is an optional for selected school. We are required by the school to sit for the exam if we passed certain level. If now, probably I can get better results, rather than FAILED
