Word of Wisdom from Thomas Carlyle

I just want to share some good quotes to empower your life, work and everything. It was emailed by one of the respected professors from my faculty and I think it is worth sharing.

Do not underestimate your power. You are not weak.

As Thomas Carlyle (1795 ~1881) wrote:

“The weakest living creature, by concentrating his powers on a single object, can accomplish something; the strongest, by dispensing his over many, may fail to accomplish anything.

The drop, by continually falling, bores its passage through the hardest rock; but the hasty torrent rushes over it with tremendous uproar, and leaves no mark upon it.”

I’m not sure whether you understand or not… If you don’t, please ask a wiser person around you to explain… :)
