My Online Adventure Direction

Sometimes, I wonder, where I am heading when it comes to making a little bit of money online (Malay people call = Mencari sesuap nasi). I’m doing this on a part time basis but it is really good getting some financial rewards from it although the cash amount is not huge. I’m still glad with the “rezeki” that I received.

When I begin my online adventure in the 3^rd quarter of 2006, I have zero basic in internet. I only know how to use email and search some information from yahoo or google. That’s it. No super extra html, php, script, coding information. I just learned about blogging that time and learn the hardway, by trial and error.

I earned my first Google adsense income in January 2007, that’s 5 months after launching my first blogspot.com blog. The adsense income rolled it well and at the end of 2007, the adsense consistently deposited to me via Western Union every month. Alhamdulillah…

Since then, I tried to spice up my blog by participating in more advertising network. I’ve tried kontera, nuffnang, advertlets and a few mores but have not cash yet cash out.

I’m earning handsomely from text-link-ads, revresponse and few mores every month. Those are damn good income supplement on top of my Google adsense pocket money. I also did some pay per post (ppp) job but unfortunately I have to reject a lot of the ppp request simply because they are out of my niche.

I consider myself lucky because I’m using my career niche as a way to generate some income indirectly. I’m now thinking of enlarging my web 2.0 niche. I have some ideas on how to do that but the problem is the time. I have a full time job that I love. I’m not willing to let go my current job. At the same time, I love my online adventure and I want to see how far I can go in constructing & building my virtual empire.

I have set my new 2009 goal to increase my adsense income to certain mark (sorry, I can’t disclose it here). I also want to try my luck in ebay. I have in mind few unique products that I believe might be irresistible by certain collectors. Initially I aimed to learn ebay by myself via blogs, websites, newsletters, forums and free ebooks. I don’t want to buy any ebooks. I thought of making my own record being successful without having to purchase any straightforward ebooks. However, now, I’m planning to buy one despite knowing all basic fundamentals that I learned from all the free resources. I want to get direct guidance from the Guru and participate in the members’ only forum. I think I will avoid making any mistake that have been done by others before. And because of that, I’ve decided to get this new Ebook – “Panduan dan Teknik Rahsia Ebay”.

OK bro. It’s good to have somebody willing to share their experiences. I would like to learn and explore ebay, but not as serious as becoming a power seller within the near future. I want to establish my positive feedbacks. However, I still want to learn ebay step by step at my own convenience. I have made 2 purchases from ebay and I’m excited. Can’t wait to received the products.
