I Escaped Wet Formula 1

Published by cyza at 7:38 pm under Blogging ~ Sharring

Luckily I made a decision not to go to Formula 1 Malaysia. At the middle of the race, heavy rain poured the circuit. Some of the cars drifted at the same corner and the red flag went off. The race could not be continued due to safety reasons.

I’ll be soaking wet if I went to the F1 race because I don’t have any grand stand ticket. I was planning to get a RM100 ticket on the hill side and that’s off course without any shade or roof top.

The Formula 1 Sepang results:

“Brawn GP’s Jenson Button has won his second race in a row after the Malaysian Grand Prix was abandoned after 33 laps at Sepang due to heavy rain.  Nick Heidfeld took second place for BMW Sauber, with Timo Glock third for Toyota. Half points are awarded as the race ran for less than 75 percent of its scheduled distance. Provisional results…”

News adopted from the Official Formula 1 Website.

Hmm…maybe I’ll just go next year or get a ticket to Formula 1 Singapore which is very much closer to me.

I watched the race from TV, personally I would not want to be in the rain myself, so you made a great decision!
