3 Questions from Marsya that forced me to think how to explain to her
How should I answer this when my 6 year old daughter, Marsya asked:
1. Daddy, what is “B…h…d”? She asked me this question while following me to our homestay to send a receipt to our guess yesterday evening. She saw several shop houses having the character “BHD” and want to clear her curiosity…
2. Daddy… why the road is black? She asked me this on our way back home from the homestay…
3. Daddy… how this book cover is made? She asked me this last week. My wife cannot answer it and asked me to answer the question.
In all there occasions, I tried my very best to answer her according to her level of understanding. Is this normal? Why Ikhwan, my son, never or as I can remember, have not at all ask challenging questions…? Why is Marsya asking that type of question…?
I’m looking forward to get pop quiz questions from either of my kids… I hope Ikhwan, Marsya and Alya will bombard me with creative questions
.
What about you guys? Any interesting question mesmerizing from your kids or your siblings? or from anybody… I look forward to read them… and then giggle…

you are lucky that they haven’t ask you questions like:
1) How can you have babies?
you only have babies when you are married. Please marry mom, I want to have another baby brother/sister
2) How come a school girl can get pregnant without getting married?
errr,…….
3)Where do babies come from?
Ask your mom!

Actually, Marsya has earlier (one year plus ago…) asked her mother about the same question you mentioned above. How to make babies…?
Why mummy is not pregnant yet? When she’ll get a younger brother or sister…?
Then, her mother answered… hmmm… daddy have not put the baby inside mummy’s tummy… That’s the answer so far that we programmed into her head…for the time being…
Any interesting question from your kids?
