Indonesian Love Story
I must admit that I love to watch Indonesian movie… and also their soundtrack song are very beautiful and has deep meaningful lyrics. Here are the soundtracks for 2 of my recent favourite Indonesian movie: Ketika Cinta Bertasbih and Ayat-ayat Cinta.
What are the similarities between those 2 movies? Both originated from novel. Both movies story line are based on Indonesian students studying in the middle east tangled with love and their pride towards their religion. It is hard and impossible to stop love. You can’t stop it. It hurts if you try to stop it. It feels pain if you go against it. You need to control and channel it the right way…
I don’t want to ramble about it anymore. What I want to do is to settle some of my important task and watch ayat-ayat cinta again. I just watched Ketika Cinta bertasbih volume 1 and 2. I llove the story line… You must love it…
Please, if you know any other indonesian movie, preferably love story + some very sad element, please recommend it to me. I want to watch some movie that can make me cry…

hoho.
feeling-feeling ye?
i prefer ketika cinta bertasbih.

malaysian music industry are becoming too stereotype. nothing fresh to look for.
i am not condemning my own nation industry but they need to look over the straits of malacca, to learn from them.
they produce more fresh and great music.

dr.aku.la,
I tend to agree with you on the local music development. I myself, love Dewa 19, Padi and Gigi for their great songs, fresh melodies and meaningful lyrics. They too dislike Malaysian songs as they feel that the songs are too melancholic…karat beb! Thumbs up for great songwriters!!

I hope Malaysian song can be as good or better than them… and also produce quality movies like them as well…
