Marsya is now reading novel!!!

Recently we visited MPH and all of us bought ourselves book(s). The damage of RM was OK… haha… That does not matter as long as we provide our kids with ample books and reading materials. Surprisingly this time, Marsya requested for a novel – “Gadis Bubble Gum”. She’s still 6 years old and will only enroll to standard 1 next year. Her reading ability and spirit really amazed us, the parents. However, she still needs to improve her english. As for Ikhwan and Alya, both of you need to improve your reading skills…hehe…then you’ll get rewarded by Cyza Sector…

I personally only read for pleasure and i have to agree with you that it is becoming a lost art. The last novel i read was Taltos by Anne Rice but i also just recently finished Best kept Secrets by Nora Roberts and Currently I’m working on Bram Stokers Dracula and a book Called Hobgoblin. Reading really is my passion along with music so i really rarely watch t.v

I am currently enjoying Atlas Shrugged. Her writing is masterful. I haven’t felt so strongly since I read One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest. Beautiful.

It’s good that she showed interest in books rather than television..

Yep, that’s true indeed. She loves book more than cartoon and tv. Her brother and sister love cartoon more than books…

That’s a leap forward from the norm bro. Keep giving her motivation and support to read more books.

Such a timely poem for me. I have felt like hiding under a rock this week, waiting for these guests in my house to disappear…but in time, this too shall pass…and hopefully deeper meaning will remain.
