6 Foods That I Consumed Daily To Maintain My Health

Staying healthy is a battle whether you agree or not. I think it is also an art. Some people realizes this while some other could not care less about it. Those who don’t care may have not been struck with brutal illnesses. For me, I have made some observations. I see many sick people around us. I also witnessed many people died at such a tender young age. Two my colleagues (same age) has died due to heart attack (before reaching 30 years old). That was really an eye opener to me. Being in our 20s, 30s, or 40s won’t guarantee that we are going to live. If God decide to end our life, than that’s the faith which we have to accept. Regardless of that, we still need to have the initiative to live a healthy live. I believe all of us wanted to live as long as possible.
We are actually what we eat. If we eat unhealthily, sooner we’ll suffer the consequences. If we eat healthily, chances of maintaining our health is higher. But, controlling what we eat alone is not the prime factor that confirm we can stay fit and healthy. We need to integrate it with a good lifestyle such as regular exercise, stable emotion, good psychology and happy environment.
I have set my own diet in order to maintain and improve my health level (and my family as well). Following are 6 foods that I consumed on a daily basis. I must say that those are the list of food but sometimes I admit missing some of them on a particular day. I’ll try my best to swallow all of them each and everyday.
1. Purple Monavie
I’ve started consuming Monavie juice since 2010. It consists of acai berry which has substantial nutrition to our body. It’s quite expensive but hey…staying healthy is more precious than paying the hospital bill when we are sick. Oh yes, among all the food, this one taste the best. It’s sweet and delicious when it is cold.
2. Oat Cereal Drink
I consumed oat mainly to reduce my bad cholesterol level in my body. I have had bad cholesterol recorded from my blood test in 2010 and 2011. My blood test in 2009 showed that my cholesterol level is still within the safe zon. I need to control my cholesterol so that it won’t contribute negatively to my heart’s health. This is crucial because having bad cholesterol can contribute to blockages in our blood vessel in the heart.
3. Fresh Fruits / Vegetables
An apple a day keeps the doctor away. This is very true. If only I eat one apple each and everyday since I was small, maybe I’ll be healthier (based on the blood analysis result). Apple is the main fruit that I regularly consumed while cucumber is the vegetable that I always choose to be eaten in raw state. Apple contains many imperative vitamins and nutrients that is needed by our body. For further information about apple nutrition, google it yourself… 🙂
Honey is also a healthy food to eat. It is said to be sugar alternative besides having various vitamins and nutritions.
I don’t have to explain this. Water is the most important food for human being.
