Casio G Shock Phone Review…
Have you ever imagined that a phone which can still be usable if you bang it on the wall in anger, or if you like to dive in the water and want to use your phone there? Is it sounds hilarious yeah? It seems like your wishes might come true with the “Casio G Shock Phone”.
Casio is a Japanese company who deals in electronics. It was formed in 1946 by “TadaoKashio”. Since then, the company holds a great respect is the field of electronics. Calculators, watches and now mobile phones are about to offer from the Japanese Giants.
The New Casio G Shock Smart Phone
G shock watches are very popular among those who work in hard environments for the last 30 years. Now, with the same idea to satisfy the needs of hardships, the Casio brings “G shock Phone”. The interesting thing about this phone is that it is not traditionally black rectangle. Rather it is a thing which is made according to the fingers grip and wrist. The phone seems to be running on android as Casio showed it in CES 2012.
The phone comes with rubber bumper around its edges and a metal back plate. Phone is designed to survive a 10 feet drop. Isn’t it pretty inspiring? It is not over yet, phone can Dive up to 10 meters in water and can resist tons of weight. Sounds like people working in hard environments can now be connected with their friends and family. It is the courtesy of G Shock Phone that is connecting people. Imagine if you work in a Mine, there is always a chance of injury to you and to your phone as well, G shock Phone can be effective there as it is designed for such environments.
Casio G Shock Smart Phone Concept
The phone has been built or it is just a concept yet? This is hard to say but the upcoming few weeks might bring some more information about this. There is not much information available about the features of the phone, but following are some features that are said to be in it:
- jolt resistant is up to 10 feet
- 1.0 bar (10m) is the resistance to water
- 1.0 bar is Pressure resistant
- Back case is of metal
- Android operating system is used in it
You can now really imagine about the more upcoming features of this Casio G Shock Android Phone by keeping the above mentioned features in mind that how it will be. This Casio G Shock android phone is really a shock. It’s similar to a brand new watch if seen closely. There is black or you can say a thick frame which is surrounded by the phone, securing the phone from any kind of damage.
Following the rugged G’zOne Commando is yet another tough-as-nails smartphone from Casio for those who like to go out in the rough and don’t want to worry about damaging their phones. The G-Shock shock phone carries the signature design of the watches by placing all the buttons on the sides near the corners. The display is surrounded by a thick frame, which would prevent any damage even if it falls flat on a surface. The back looks even more impressive, with a stylish metal case back and exposed screws (refer photo above). Casio has even engraved some emergency numbers on the back.
One more interesting thing which you would like to know about it that a list of emergency numbers is placed at the back of the Casio G Shock android phone for your help. Its amazing look and wonderful features can help it to get the popularity in the market as well as among the users.
We are not sure regarding the hardware specs of the device at the moment. Also, even on the software front, all we know is that it will be running Android. I’ll update about this when there are some info about it.
My 3 cent: I’m wearing G-Shock Riseman wrist watch, but that doesn’t mean I’ll use G Shock Phone. But, I still think this piece of equipment is special, unique and must have gadget for those working in fierce tough environment.
