Everybody, including you and me surely have a work station. Having a work station is imperative for us to sit down and focus to do our work. I have several work stations. I have several work stations at home and several work stations at work. In this entry, I’ll share some of my work stations with you.

But, before that, I would like to share some of the cool work stations that I found from Work Station Set Ups. I found this fantastic site when I was searching some ideas on how to make the perfect work station (for myself) at our new house soon. I’ll make a special entry about that in future. In fact, I plan not only to make my dream work station, but I’ll upgrade it to become my “Command Center“. Wow! Sounds crazy huh!!! Sometimes I’m crazy.

Ops, enough about my rambling. Let me get back to the selected work station that I took from Work Station Set Ups. Work Station #1 looks very awesome and deserved to be called a Command Center, just like I plan to do. Though it looks advance and superb, this is not what I have in mind for my actual command center. Work Station #2 has the basic stuff required. It is nice but it looks too simple for me to adopt it to become my own command center.

Work Station #1 - This work station is so super cool. Do you like it?

Work Station #3 - Neat, simple and cool work station. I like it.

Work Station #4 - This workstation is suitable for limited space area. This guy's bed is above his work station. He cleverly arranged his room and created a fantastic work station.

Work Station #5 - I love this work station. It looks simple, spacious (off course because it requires huge room).

My Work Stations

Now, let’s check out my work station… πŸ™‚

officeworkstation

My Work Station #1 - My official work station in my own office. This is where currently I do my research work + other works. I don't do my blogging here.

My Work Station #1 - This is another angle of my own office work station. Please ignore the mess. I was doing my work the time I snapped this photo using my Samsung Galaxy Note Ace.

My Work Station #2 - Common work station at home - in front of the TV. Check out how many laptops are there? I also occupy this space from time to time.

My Work Station #3 - My work station at the first floor of my home. This is my working desk at home. It's equipped with printers, head set, stationaries, table lamp, table fan, TV (not visible in this photo). The white hat is my safety helmet. Chemical Engineers need to wear safety helmet like that when entering a plant.

My Work Station #4 - But most of the time, this is where I always do my work. I occupy a small section of the dining table. From this point, with the wall behind me, I can see everybody and watch the TV as well.

So, there you are. Some super cool work stations that I like + several of my own work stations. There are several more of my temporary work stations that I have not included here. Maybe I’ll include the rest of my work station in future post.

As for my future Command Center in our new house, the concept is actually simple. I just want a small room equipped with a spacious table (preferably 6 feet or more) which faces a large window (preferably no grills on it). On the table, I can place my laptop(s), monitor(s) and printer(s), fax and scanner. I need to have tall racks on both sides of the wall to organized my files/documents. I hope I can hang additional monitors on the upper section of the command center room which is meant for CCTV and online energy monitoring/record. I think, that’s it for now.

I would love to read your comment, views, ideas and critics. If possible, I would also like to see your work station as well.
