Rojak Made in Kuantan
Early Note: I’m currently in Kuantan in conjunction of the school holiday break.
As I told you before, there are many foods to prepare, explore and eat here when we are in my wife’s hometown in Kuantan. Early Sunday morning, we have gotten out of the house to search some imperative ingredients to make Rojak. The Rojak is specifically requested by my pregnant wife. The first destination was the tropical fruit reseller nearby my inlaw’s house. We purchased various type of fruits there which total up to nearly RM50.
Then, we went to a mini market to purchase additional ingredients for making the home
mad made rojak. The gravy is also home made (by my mother in law). I was not there to witness directly the overall process of making the rojak. However, I managed to snapped some photos during the stages of making the rojak. Pity I missed the chance to see how the gravy was made.
Among the tropical fruits in this rojak are pineapple (my favourite), guava, papaya, cucumber, under-ripe mango, turnips etc.
