In a short while, I’ll be joining a team of 40 professional engineers to attend a technical visit trip to Legoland Malaysia in Nusajaya. This trip is organized under the flagship of Institutional Engineers Malaysia (IEM), Southern Branch.
The actual and official opening of Legoland Malaysia is September 2012 if I’m not mistaken. However, I heard that IEM was the only professional organization that was allow to officially visit and given a tour to the Legoland Malaysia. No other organization is know allowed to do so. I’m not sure about this fact but if you want to bring your organization for a technical site visit, just ask them and you’ll know the answer.
For this visit which will take place at 8.30 am afterwards (Saturday – today), I will need to bring my safety boots and safety helmet as well. Maybe there will be a walking along the theme park which is almost completed. Off course since Legoland is not ready yet, we must be concern on the safety on a construction site.
I don’t know what to expect there at Legoland Malaysia. I just want to explore and learn as much as possible how they build this top international theme park. As an engineer, I would also love to learn the project management aspect as well as several engineering wonders that they apply in constructing this massive theme park.
As for me and my family, we have not yet purchase the early bird annual discounted pass to enter Legoland. Soon, I’ll get the ticket. No worries… Then after that, I’ll post some interesting, exciting and fun pictures for all of you to see and then decide.. Oh… I also need to go to legoland Malaysia…
OK, that’s all for now. I need to get ready and head to the meeting point with the other engineers. Catch up with you later.
