As stated in my previous entry, I’ll be going to Newcastle with my family for my 2 months research attachment which is part of my Ph.D. Yesterday, we took off from Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) at 11.35 pm using KLM Royal Dutch airline. It was a very long flight. It took us 12 hours and 30 minutes to reach Amsterdam. Amsterdam is the place for our transit before we can take another plane to Newcastle, 5 hours later.

I have not taken such a long flight since my undergraduate degree. This time it is more of a challenge because I’m bringing the entire battalion. Ikhwan, Marsya and Alya have not been in a foreign country with 4 seasons. They have not tasted or feel the breeze cold spring air. They have not yet experience how cold is it to be in United Kingdom at this time. I hope everything will be smooth, fine and all of us will remain healthy.

We landed at Amsterdam airport at about 6 am (Holland time) and then we have to wait for the next flight which is scheduled to be at 10.05 am. Right now my wife is resting/sleeping while my kids are playing and lingering around in the Kids forest.

Sorry, no time to upload photos for the time being. Perhaps later I’ll upload some photos upon arriving in UK and after everything is stable.

Catch you guys later. Adios.

Share and Enjoy
