In the process if deriving my own reaction mechanism...Don’t worry about the image. It is nothing actually. I am just trying to understand the derivation and mechanism of catalyst surface reaction.

Initially I hate this subject. This is one important topic in Chemical Engineering that I found it very difficult to comprehend. Just imagine, I can read an english autobiography book that have pages amounting to nearly 200 in 1 day. However, I can only read 2 pages of reaction kinetics and barely understand within 30 to 45 minutes. So, you can imagine how tough my life is now, as this must go as the final jigsaw puzzle for my Ph.D thesis.

By hook or by crook I must complete this reaction kinetics section as well as the reaction model postulation. That will be one of my significant contribution in this topic where not many researchers are involved in. For the sake of those of you who are not aware, a Ph.D student must come out and contribute a new knowledge to the community he or she is in. As for me, I am contributing to the area of catalysis engineering, reaction engineering, energy as well as chemical engineering. Wish me luck… 😉
