In case some of you don’t notice, Friday and Saturday is our official off day in the state of Johor. Each and every offices, institution or anything related to government will have Friday and Saturday as off day.

Frankly speaking, we felt awkward adjusting to the new Friday-Saturday-off although I have experienced it before (when I was in my school days). However, now we simply love it. It feels like we are working 4 days a week. Working on Sunday still feels like weekend after we left the office.

Does this Nasi Minyak look awesome to you?

Ops…OK… Back to the original story. For this Friday’s luncheon, my wife cooked something traditional but have not cooked for quite some time. Since she has no idea what to cooked, I just answered why not cook Nasi Minyak?

Then she really cooked it. The whole family enjoyed the superb feast. We also gave some to our neighbour. Bobo, the black tame stray cat who considered our house his house as well enjoyed the left overs of the Nasi Minyak too… hehe… I mean the chicken bones.
