Check out the condition of my boots after the first half friendly match of my faculty versus Faculty of Electrical Engineering. Dirty? Nasty? Pretty?

I played right back position at this age now.  I used to play left wing or striker when I was a little bit younger. Unfortunately, I cannot play the remaining game just now because I have to fetch Ikhwan and Marsya from school. It’s OK. I don’t mind at all playing only one half of the game, considering my age. My intention is purely for exercise and for fun… :)

My boot is not a branded one. It is just a simple boot purchased from Bata 2 years ago. I only used them for the inter faculty matches in UTM… hehe… :)

Final score: FKK 3 – 3 FKE

Oh gosh…It was really tiring. I played the first half of the friendly match just now between my faculty, FKK/FPREE/CEPP versus CICT. I played the right back position. I am the only person on the field wearing spectacles!!! That’s dangerous actually…hehe…  At the end, the result: 2-2. We need to train more often. We need to be more fit and have more stamina. We need to strategize as a team. OK, that’s all… Short report after getting back home. Tomorrow, we’ll take some time to watch Hikayat Merong Mahawangsa – The Malay Chronicles.

Yesterday was the first day of the new season of English Premier League and I have looked foward for it for the past weeks. This was mainly because for the second time in my life, I joined fantasy premier league. The first time I joined was if I’m not mistaken in 2003 or 2004. That was only for one season. After that I stopped. I felt the pressure of managing my own team… haha… Well actually, it was the paradoxical feeling of having to support some players from team I dislike.  Then, I cannot purely enjoy the football because I always keep remembering who the players I selected for my team and how do they perform.

After 5 or 6 years, now, I’m back, managing a team with a budget of only 100 million pound sterling. That’s a decent amount to spent for a reasonable average team. I have no experience as a manager neither do managing a league.

Since, I started the LigaPowerRanger1011 last week, I have 20 managers, 20 teams in it. That is really amazing. Some of them I know some I don’t know. That’s fine. We are in just for fun and excitement. For those who I don’t know and if you are reading this entry, I hope you can introduce yourself. It’s better if we know who we are battling, don’t you think so?

So, how do my team perform yesterday?

As a new promoted manager who is still lacking of managerial experience, I can’t really answer that question yet. This is because there are still few more teams that have not played. With Arsenal and Liverpool facing each other tonight, and Manchester United and Newcastle United meeting for the first time after the Toons was relegated previous season, there are still much of action to anticipate.

OK, if you want to know my points, I have only collected just 19 points and I’m in the 18th position in my own league. My overall rank in the world is 1,473,812 from  1,789,752 teams. But that is not yet the final number. There are still matches and I have players in those matches. I’m expecting my points to improve.

Why the hell I’m playing this fantasy football game if I have lots of work?

Simple answer… I need to enjoy too. I want to see how well I could perform as a manager. Will that be a new career that I’ll look for a career switch?

Not at all!!!

OK, that’s it for now. I hope those of you are not at all a football fan can bare with me on this musing of mine.

Hi guys,

Sorry for not posting for a very long time. If you wonder why, please refer to the previous post I made. I’m here to share some updates on myself.

1. I’m not in my best health. I have complete combination of viral attack: flue, sore throat, headache etc. Not only me, the entire family are infected as well. I’m the last to be attacked by this evil virus. Damn! However, despite of not being entirely fit, I still go to work as usual.

2. The life we are dwelling now is kind of hectic. Everybody schooling, everybody working. The only time we have some piece is on Saturday. That’s the only day that we can wake up late. No more waking up late on Sunday because we have aerobic in front of my house, at the basket ball court. After Chinese new year, we might be having English class on Sunday afternoon conducted by who else….. my wife laaa…. for the woman community in our neighbourhood – zon A only.

3. Witnessing Manchester United games these days are very exciting! However, the list of injured players kind of worry me and other red devil die hard fans as well. The fact that the team is coming to Malaysia this July really enlighten me. I’m going to watch them now. Budeen please get us some tickets and lets watch them play against Malaysia team.

4. I have a new interest and it is called Ebay. I’m not sure why suddenly I wanted to learn about it. Maybe because of happen to be successful in profiting from it. I know somebody following cyza who has been selling in ebay, samdaddy…you’re the man…. please share some of your experience with me (and the rest)… I have not yet purchase or sell anything. I’ve just watch some of the gadgets listed in it. Among them are blackberry and Nokia E90 communicator.

5. There was a video shooting just now in our research lab. It’s kind of cool. The director was Aidid Marcello from TV3. If you don’t know him, don’t worry, feel free to check in Google. His nice and friendly and we managed to snapped some photos. I asked him about his kids and he said he has 2: one was 3 years old and the other was 8 months old.

6. ….mmm… what else arrrr…..
