Seriously I wanted to make a post on what I did on Saturday, our experience renewing out maid’s passport and permit and some other interesting stories. However, since I noticed some of the regular visitors making substantial amount of comments (which I believe because you guys think I’m continuing the Top Commentator Contest for April), I think I better make an announcement as soon as possible. I’m sorry for not declaring about this sooner. I have plenty of this and that in my serebrum and serebellum. I am also experiencing intense pressure and stress from my studies, business, life etc. I am trying my best to cope and control everything so that I won’t be crazy. I just hope and pray I can deal with all of these (challenges) with open heart and with His guidance.

Ok, back to the original story. I have been thinking of another type of contest besides the top commentator which I have been running since the past three months. Finally I got an idea yesterday. Well, here it goes…

To those who want to participate, the task is simple. Listen and read carefully. What you need to do is write an article of at least 400-500 words. The title of the article is “My wildest dream”. The article must be originally yours and potraying your dream… What you want the most in life. Oh yes you need to write this article in English. So this is one way of you to practice writing in English carefully and soon be proud of yourself.

You will then send (email) the article to me (via the contact form if you don’t have my email) and I will then publish it in Cyza Sector. I will of course mention that this article is from you and link it back to your blog.

How to find the winner?

Here comes the interesting part. For every article published, I will choose the winner from the number of Facebook LIKES that your article received as shown under the post in Cyza Sector by 28th April 2012 at 12 noon Malaysia time. So, you need to make the most interesting article that can attract the most readers to Facebook Like your article. The winner will be the one that has the most number of Facebook Likes. I hope you understand the rules.

The prizes

1st place – $15

2nd place – $12

3rd place – $9

3 Consolation Prizes : $5 each.

So far this is the biggest cash money I’m offering. Bigger than previous months. It’s not as much as the cash money that Axiata Cup is giving but it is just something that I can give back to appreciate my loyal readers and followers.

It’s totally up to you to join and take the challege or you can choose to not joining. The choice is yours. I’m also gambling by asking you to write an article but I’m fine with it. I don’t have anything to lose if you choose not to participate perhaps due to thinking that you have poor English. I don’t mind at all broken English. I just want to read your wildest dream and learn from you guys. So… Are you up to this April challenge?

April Fool!!!

Finally March 2012 has ended and there goes 31 days + 29 days + 31 days = 91 days of the year 2012. What have you achieved in the first quarter of 2012? What have I achieved? That’s a question that you should answer yourself, ain’t it?

OK, now since March 2012 is over, that means the Top Commentator Contest for March 2012 is also over exactly at 12 midnight according to my white Toshiba laptop + G-shock Riseman watch + Samsung Galaxy Ace smart phone. It was a neck to neck battle between Farahaznil and new comer, Jomtonton. Let’s see now who is the winner.

It is Farahaznil, the January 2012 winner who managed to win the title back again for March. She’s very lucky this month because she won quite a huge cash prize and also 3 mystery ebook that I promised to give. Thanks to her commitment in making 234 comments in Cyza Sector. What a huge number is that.

The second winner is newcomer Jomtonton with 231 comments and as usual the third winner is titan again…

I’ll check all the necessary requirements. If everything is satisfactory, I’ll be sending you the prizes as between fast as possible AND under 7 days. Congratulations to all of you. To those who failed to be in the top 3 position, don’t worry. Try again next time (or this month)… :)

Since it is already mid March, I think I should make a short review or comment about the March 2012 Cyza Sector Top Commentators Contest. So far the contest is very encouraging and I saw some new bloggers emerge in pursuit to conquer the top 3 places.  Last month, the contest was won by Samdaddy (Feb) and Farahaznil, who won in January only managed to grab the second place. I think Farahaznil was quite surprise by the sudden counter-attack by Samdaddy.

This month (March), Samdaddy is currently at 4th place. I’m not sure if he is serious in maintaining his crown as the top commentator for March. However, Jomtonton, a new comer, has shown that he is a real challenger. I can see that he is trying to beat Farahaznil to be the champion for this month. I think that is not impossible. If Jomtonton has the desire, focus and right attitude, he can win this month’s Top Commentator Contest. Oh…OK, I don’t want to be biased anymore. Just be yourself, comment wisely and healthily.

But, please remember the requirement of this March 2012 contest. If you don’t follow the the rules, chances are you maybe wasting your time. For reference, check the rules below:

(1) It is important to note that I don’t allow any NAME that use targeted keyword. For example, let’s refer to January’s list of top commentators. There are the likes of Bukit Gambang, Bingo Machine, Boats for sale, Jawatan kosong and web host asp. If such username that looks like keyword is used, I will either delete the comment or change the name to any other name that I want or change the url to any url that I want. Alternatively, you can still use a better username that resembles your identity, real name or nick name and place any link you want in the URL box.

(2) Since this is a monthly comment contest, comments made in March only will be counted and accepted. The contest will be officially closed at 12.00 am (midnight) 1 April 2012. After that, I will reset the Top Commentator list. Again, as the owner of Cyza Sector, I have the right to delete comments that I feel not appropriate or spam type.

(3) Now…this rule is the additional rule that I just created. In order to get the prize, you need to fulfill this rule. Otherwise, your efforts of commenting in Cyza Sector would be meaningless and a waste of time which means you may just get the back link from Cyza Sector and not the cash (if you are in the top 3). What you need to do is to blog about this contest. You need to make a really creative and unique post (which is good for your blog’s SEO) and link it to this blog entry. Minimum amount of words are 150. Yeah…I’m not asking too much… Just write few beautiful sentences, insert the link back, published the article and you are already entitled to get the cash prize if you are the top 3.  If for example the 2nd top commenter did not make the requested blogpost, the next person who qualifies will get the prize and so on.

I cannot believe it. Two months has passed and now March come in for the year 2012. When March is over, that is the end of the first quarter of 2012. Do you feel it? Do you feel that the time moves very fast? I need to work harder to complete my Ph.D this year. OK, back to the topic of this entry.

I would like to announce that Cyza Sector March 2012 Top Commentator is officially on. What you have to do is just post comment(s) to any of my blog post. I appreciate good, fruitful comment and at least a minimum of 1 sentence. I won’t hesitate to delete unrelated and spam type comment. I have deleted a lot and I really hate it. So, please don’t waste my time. The comment can be in either English or Malay language, i don’t mind as long as majority of us understand.

The Prizes

I will award prizes for the top 3 top commentators. All you need to do is just comment, comment, comment in Cyza Sector + own a paypal account. You need a paypal account because I’m going to transfer cash to the winners via paypal. If you are Malaysian and do not have paypal email account, I can arrange to transfer the cash to your bank account. The cash allocated for March is the same as it were in February. The Top Commentator Contest ~ February 2012 just ended. I think it is a fair and great battle between the winner of January 2012 Top Commentator versus a new challenger, SamdaddyCool.  Before this, Farahaznil was leading the pack. However, I noticed Samdaddycool suddenly overtook her midnight 29th February as shown below.
