Seriously I wanted to make a post on what I did on Saturday, our experience renewing out maid’s passport and permit and some other interesting stories. However, since I noticed some of the regular visitors making substantial amount of comments (which I believe because you guys think I’m continuing the Top Commentator Contest for April), I think I better make an announcement as soon as possible. I’m sorry for not declaring about this sooner. I have plenty of this and that in my serebrum and serebellum. I am also experiencing intense pressure and stress from my studies, business, life etc. I am trying my best to cope and control everything so that I won’t be crazy. I just hope and pray I can deal with all of these (challenges) with open heart and with His guidance.

Ok, back to the original story. I have been thinking of another type of contest besides the top commentator which I have been running since the past three months. Finally I got an idea yesterday. Well, here it goes…

To those who want to participate, the task is simple. Listen and read carefully. What you need to do is write an article of at least 400-500 words. The title of the article is “My wildest dream”. The article must be originally yours and potraying your dream… What you want the most in life. Oh yes you need to write this article in English. So this is one way of you to practice writing in English carefully and soon be proud of yourself.

You will then send (email) the article to me (via the contact form if you don’t have my email) and I will then publish it in Cyza Sector. I will of course mention that this article is from you and link it back to your blog.

How to find the winner?

Here comes the interesting part. For every article published, I will choose the winner from the number of Facebook LIKES that your article received as shown under the post in Cyza Sector by 28th April 2012 at 12 noon Malaysia time. So, you need to make the most interesting article that can attract the most readers to Facebook Like your article. The winner will be the one that has the most number of Facebook Likes. I hope you understand the rules.

The prizes

1st place – $15

2nd place – $12

3rd place – $9

3 Consolation Prizes : $5 each.

So far this is the biggest cash money I’m offering. Bigger than previous months. It’s not as much as the cash money that Axiata Cup is giving but it is just something that I can give back to appreciate my loyal readers and followers.

It’s totally up to you to join and take the challege or you can choose to not joining. The choice is yours. I’m also gambling by asking you to write an article but I’m fine with it. I don’t have anything to lose if you choose not to participate perhaps due to thinking that you have poor English. I don’t mind at all broken English. I just want to read your wildest dream and learn from you guys. So… Are you up to this April challenge?

Ideas Needed to Improve Cyza Sector Closure

I also made a post requesting for some ideas that may improve Cyza Sector rank, popularity and most importantly income. I did receive some inputs from several of you. Thanks a lot for your input. I appreciate it very much. Honestly, I already know the proposed ideas. It’s just a matter of executing them step by step. I was looking for something different, something out of the blue, something that is uniquely interesting and creative that I can possibly use.

But that’s fine. Maybe I’ll get the X-factor later this year. I’ll still give the rewards. No problem. For that reason, I will equally award the cash to Titan and AdamFaiz. I hope AdamFaiz can send me your paypal email or local account bank via Cyza Sector contact form so I can arrange for the payment. Although it is not that much, but I need to pay you and it’s totally up to you guys what you want to do with that small money.

Ideas Needed to Improve Cyza Sector

Dear fellow Cyza Sector readers,

It is my intention to bring Cyza Sector to the next level. I know the past year has not been that cool for my humble blog. I have not been consistent in maintaining and nurturing my own private blog. However, the emergence of 2012 has some how provided me some slice of motivation for me to light up Cyza Sector. I want Cyza Sector to be a cool and wonderful blog for people like you to follow, read and enjoy. I want to see Cyza Sector’s Alexa rank and Google Page Rank improve. It is my desire to see more page views per day and generate some decent revenue from ads incorporated within Cyza Sector’s abdomen.

My 2 cent worth ideas

I have some ideas to improve Cyza Sector. I plan to have my own Cyza Sector Facebook Page and Twitter. Besides that I would also like to utilize more useful and important WordPress plugins. I know and own some imperative plugins but I have not yet install them. I would also love to have a new Cyza Sector look, which basically means new cool design. The present design is not that cool, I think. Maybe you share the same opinion as well.

Some improvements have been geared such as running a small contest to improve my Alexa rank and also placement of my Adsense to improve my online earning (I just inserted adsense code just now). I also tried my best to spend some time musing in Cyza Sector to ensure I have a daily posting.

Your million dollar idea is what I desperately want

My time is limited. Hence, I will only improve and upgrade Cyza Sector gradually, one step at a time. I would love to have new fresh ideas on how I can further improve Cyza Sector and bring it to the highest level. I have seen some successful English blog, local and international such as Hongkiat.com and Johnchow.com (just to name a few) which are extremely successful. There are tonnes of other great blogs out there that deserved to be listed here but hey… I’m not here to make a blog directory.

That’s why I created this entry, specially to rip off some fresh juice from you. I need your idea. It can be good and bad. It can be common and creative. It can be expected and it can be out of the moon idea. Just throw out what you have in mind and what you think would work for Cyza Sector. You can do that by typing those creative idea(s) in the comment box below.

Should I reward the best Idea?

Hmmm… I have not think about that yet. But why not? To make it interesting and simple, I’ll gift away $7 (that’s US dollar ok…in case some of you got confuse) for the single best idea that me, myself like. I know that’s not too much but it is something at least for the best idea.The decision will be final and cannot be contested by others. Final date will be end of January 2012 at 11.59 pm. January 2012 Top Commentator Contest

Without further delay, I’m going to launch Cyza Sector first contest of the year. This is just a normal and simple January 2012 Top Commentator Contest. What you have to do is just post comment to any of my blog post. However, I will appreciate it very much if you can provide good, fruitful comment and at least a minimum of 1 sentence. The comment can be in either English or Malay language, i don’t mind as long as all of us understand.

The Prizes

I will award prizes for the top 3 top commentators. All you need to do is just comment, comment, comment in Cyza Sector + own a paypal account. You need a paypal account because I’m going to transfer cash to the winners via paypal. The cash allocated for January is not that much, but hey…if you are winner #1, you can purchase a domain name using this money. There is some possibility that I may increase the prizes value for future contest. As for now, cash prizes are as follows:

Top commentator #1 – $10 (Equivalent to RM30)

Top commentator #2 – $8 (Equivalent to RM24)

Top commentator #3 – $6 (Equivalent to RM18)

Some Simple Rules

Since this is a monthly comment contest, comments made in January only will be counted and accepted. The contest will be officially closed at 12.00 am (midnight) 1 February 2012. After that, I will reset the Top Commentator list. As the owner of Cyza Sector, I have the right to delete comments that I feel not appropriate or spam type.

Cyza Sector Performance So Far…

It has been almost 3 weeks plus since I switched my blog to this domain. My previous blog has a good Google Page Rank (PR 4) and relatively fair Alexa rank. It was quite a hard decision leaving the old blog. But, sometimes decision must be made and I have my reasons of doing it. Now, I’m challenging myself to improve Cyza Sector rank and bring it to a better level. In order to measure that, I’m going to use some data to measure the performance of this blog. I plan to do this on a quarterly basis (unless I receive feedback that some of you are bored seeing my datas)…
