The Best Paypal Guide Book

Published by cyza under Blogging ~ Sharring, Make Money

This is a must have information product if you intend to make money online. It is written by a good friend of mine, Smartzul. The book is written in Malay Language. Hence, it is suitable for Malaysian people only. However, if you are not from Malaysia but can read Malay language, why the heck not…

Personally, I’ve read the ebook and that’s the reason I highlighted that this is a MUST have product. Despite of my 2 to 3 years of experiences sending, receiving, get paid etc via paypal, I still don’t know many other things. So, I can say that this ebook is very useful and affordable. The explanation below, which is explained in Malay language, will briefly explain a little bit information extracted from the ebook package. Yep, not only ebook, you’ll get several videos to further establish your comprehension on Paypal.

…………………………………………………………………………………………………

Sebab 2: Langkah demi langkah

Tidak berguna sesebuah bahan informasi jika ia hanya sekadar celoteh sahaja tanpa menunjukkan bagaimana melakukannya. Ebook Panduan Asas Paypal adalah ebook “How To”, selain penerangan ringkas.

Sebab 4: Video penerangan ringkas

Tetapi cukup empat dahulu.

Introducing email, blog and facebook to my son & daughter

laptop

Today is a very interesting day. Believe it or not, I taught my kids, Ikhwan (8) and Marsya (6) how to open, read, type and chat using their own email account. Before that, I thought both of them how to register and login their own email account.

So, it is official, Ikhwan and Marsya has their own email account and I can send email to them. Their mother can send email to them too. Their grandfather, uncles and aunties also can send email to them as well.

It is really interesting and I look forward to see how they will progress. I hope this exposure can stimulate their brain faster than normal. I hope this activity will be a good one to further educate and train them to be independence in information seeking. It was quite tough to explain to them about what is email, username, password, reply, chat etc. But the outcome was great… They seem to like the idea of being able to email and chat :) .

Alya (5) seems not interested yet to learn about email. Maybe next year I will teach her.

Following was my chat (GTalk) with Ikhwan just now… It was his first time chatting with me. Marsya was with him while he searched which letter on the keyboard to key in. They were both down stairs while I was up stairs. The overall chat took 22 minutes, mainly because I have to wait him to type the chat… haha…

me: Ikhwan

Next project

After they are familiar with login, reading and replying emails, I will move on and teach them to create and maintain their own blog.

For a start they will use blogspot.com but then, after a while and when they are able to understand blogging, I’ll present them their own dotcom. I want to provide them the dot com and web 2.0 adventure. It is the web 2.0 era and soon web 3.0 will emerged. I don’t want my kids to be laid back and not knowing or not alert on the internet wave. I want them to make full use of what is good from the internet.

After they are familiar with email and blog, I’ll introduce them to Facebook. Facebook is equally important web 2.0 tool nowadays for networking and other positive activities.

And finally, when the timing is good and when I see some sign of maturity, I’ll train them on how to make money online. I strongly believe, they will be excited to be able to make money by themselves. When? I can’t say yet. If either one of them are ready at the age of 13, I’ll teach him/her. If either one is ready at 10 years old, why the heck not?

Then, I need to teach them how to register google adsense, click bank etc. I also need to expose to them about paypal and how to withdraw money using western union or our own internet banking system. Wow…that, I believe would be very interesting… ;)

I’ll let reveal when they have their own personal blog that they run themselves soon…

Another Paypal payment

Published by cyza under Blogging ~ Sharring, Make Money

What a feeling? On a sunshiny Friday, I received a payment from netline. This is just another payment that I regularly received from what we call CPA program. For you information, I barely spend my time promoting this program. I’m more focus on other making money program such as PPC and link sales compared to CPA. So, getting a CPA income for me is additional bonus.

What is CPA program?

CPA stands for “Cost per action”. It means you will basically get paid when your blog readers or anybody who click on a CPA link made an action to register to get a product or service. Once the registration is successful, you will get rewarded. In this case, without realizing the concept of CPA, I have registered more than 1 and half years ago with netline. Sometimes I call it Revresponse. If you are interested with this program, you check it out here.

Domain renewal: Autopay versus Manual Pay

Published by cyza under domain

Domain Renewal

Yesterday, i have a little time to spare to renew 3 of my almost expiring domains which I purchased from godaddy.com and cheapdomain.com [2 dot com(s) and 1 dot info]. Earlier, I received renewal notices from both parties to renew my domains or accept the auto renewal process. The auto renewal process is set/agreed when I first register new domains with them. So, instead of auto renewal, I decided to manually renew the 3 domains myself. I clicked the renewal links in the email they sent me. Then, the process was fast and easy. I used paypal for payments to the two large international hosting company. To my surprised, I only have to pay $8.17 per domain (cost of domain renewal = $7.99 + $0.18 (ICANN Fee)). So, in total, the cost of renewal was about $24++ ($8.17 x 3). I’m not sure whether this is the price for earlier + manual renewal. But, I’m happy because I saved some of my paypal cash (rather than paying $10++ per domain renewal).

Why I’m saying this?

Last July, I forgot to renew a domain which I bought from godaddy.com. Luckily, the auto renewal process took place automatically and deducted about $10.67 from my paypal account. That’s better than the company you purchased your domain from did not inform you OR you forgot to renew your domain and the domain is re-directed somewhere else. I’ve experience that before and I lost substantially a lot from that simple mistake.

Bottom line, auto renewal is cool… but, can I say that auto renewal cost slightly more than early manual domain renewal? I’m not sure on this. Anybody have any experience on this?

Conclusion:

I prefer domain auto renewal. It’s safer. I don’t really mind if they if the charge is slightly more as long as if I forgot to renew, my websites and blogs are still running 24/7.
