A day at the Indonesian Embassy

Published by cyza under Blogging ~ Sharring, Make Money

We have planned to settle our maid’s permit at the Indonesian embassy today and yes, we went to the embassy just now. Unfortunately, as we arrived there, the officer kindly said that we need to bring the maid along. Last year, we did the same thing, but there was no need bringing the maid. Well, we have no choice and we have to return home, get the maid, the kids, took a passport size photo, photocopy the maid’s visa and drove back to the embassy before 12 o’clock.

Well, the entire process took about 3 hours plus the 1 hour lunch break. Now, the mission is accomplished and our maid will be on leave for 2 weeks this December.

p/s: I have 1,000++ additional TNX points today compared to yesterday… this is getting exciting? Want to learn more, check out my last post.

Nikon D40 DSLR is My Brother’s New Toy

Published by zaki under Uncategorized

My brother bought a new Nikon D40 DSLR 3 weeks ago at Jusco Tebrau City, Johor Bahru. I never realized about his new toy until I came to his duplex here in Selayang, Selangor yesterday. I saw her daughter’s 8R photo which was so sharp and photogenic, well presented in a golden frame hanging on the wall in the living room. At first I thought, the photo was captured using the old type film camera. However, my brother informed that he snapped the photo using his brand new 6 megapixel camera. The camera is so impressive and powerful that made us want to snap photo repeatedly.

Just now, we brought the kids to the condo’s swimming pool. We also dined together in a restaurant. We took turns capturing photos (at the swimming pool and our dinner) using the Nikon DSLR. We snapped from various angles and positions as well as adjusting the lens and aperture. I’ll post some of the photos after we downloaded them very soon.

My brother eager to get that view and went inside the kiddy pool to take a snap. Shot by Canon Power shot A5.
