My White Proton Exora – Special Report after 1 year 5 months

I have planned to make this post earlier. However, the idea and action was always postponed due to my hectic schedule. I believe this post will be very much anticipated by people who plans to purchase Proton Exora. They want to know the feel and experience from those who owns one.

For that special reason, I’m going to make a comprehensive report (based on my moderate technical knowledge on cars) on how I feel about my own Proton Exora. It will be my honest comments, experience, feeling, emotion, happy and sad moment and much more.

I’m open to responses, critics, improvement, ideas and others and I hope Proton can successfully improve and emerge as one of the respected automobile company in the world, not just Malaysia or Asia.

I’m currently drafting the report and it will be release soon. Anybody want to have it

Blogging from Kuantan

The trip to Kuantan which was earlier planned on a Tuesday morning was delayed to 1pm. All of us woke up late…hehe… Actually we (me and my wife) were very exhausted painting the living hall.

We are going to spend the 1st and 2nd day of Hari Raya in Kuantan. The 3rd day, we are going back south to Johor Bahru and spend 2 or 3 days in my parents home.

After visiting my mother and wish Selamat Hari Raya, Maaf Zahir Batin at her house in JB, just now, we drove straight to Kuantan. My father was still at work at that time and I just called him and wish him the same. We arrived at 6.30 pm in Kuantan in a journey which I slept 1/3 of the time. Guess who drove?

As soon as we arrived, I unloaded the luggages from our automatic white Proton Exora. After everything is done, I checked the time. Oh… It’s 6.40 pm. Oh my God… I almost forget. It was time for the Indonesian Sinetron that I’m following… Cinta Kirana. Haha…any body following that Indonesian drama?

Staying online in Kuantan

Later after praying, with my other half, we tried to set up the Celcom prepaid broadband that my brother Arif gave me. Earlier, we purchased the Celcom Broadband prepaid and also a Celcom top-up of RM10. This is to allow us to subscribe Celcom broadband for 1 week which cost RM20.

Hmm…at first we struggled to configure and set up the internet at my laptop. However, after 25 minutes figuring and meddling with it, we finally successfully set up the wireless Celcom Broadband and that’s why I can blog in my favourite blog now…

Cat pooped on top of my White Exora

Can you imagine this… Do you know what is that?

That is actually cat shit @ cat poop… This bastard climbed up to my White Proton Exora and do his business there like a gangster!!!

I brought my Proton Exora outside and asked my maid to wash away those shit!!!

The flies are really enjoying those organic smelly shit.

Out of routine

Currently I’m blogging from my brother in law’s house in Bukit Beruntung, a cowboy town adjacent to Rawang. Luckily he has the streamyx broadband installed in his extended corner lot house.

Earlier, after Ikhwan school session ended on a brisk Friday afternoon, we headed up north to Cemor, a small town north of Ipoh to attend a cousin’s wedding. The wedding was held on Saturday afternoon but the preparation took place 2-3 days earlier.

We arrived at the house in Cemor at 2.00 am. We relaxed and then slept at the living hall. The next day, I spared my physical energy to assist the cooking process. I helped to do some “kenduri” activity stuffs. It was really tiring but well, I rather help than just sit and see. However, the most interesting thing is my kids also helped and that was very nice to see. I’ll upload some photos about that soon after I arrive back to my home in JB.

Later the same day, we move down south to Bukit Beruntung. There were all together 9 people in my white Proton Exora,which include my mother, father and sister in law.

We arrived at Bukit Beruntung and landed safely in the house at 9 pm. All of us relaxed, watched some malay drama and later end the night – sleeping zzzzzzzz…..

We are going to continue our journey to Kuantan later this afternoon and stay in Kuantan until Wednesday.

Hence, within that time, I maybe not connected to the internet. I’ll use the time to do my offline work…. hehe…

OK, that’ s it…a little update from me… Have a nice prosperous holiday.

Proton Exora versus Perodua Alza

After honestly reviewing my own M-Line Proton Exora in 2009, I’m back with a mini entry, but now with some visual comparison. Last year, on the same day of my wife’s birthday, we received our brand new white 1.6 litres Proton Exora. Eleven months after that, my brother decided to sold his Honda Civic (not sure which year) at an astonishingly high second hand value price and used the cash as a huge down payment for his electrifying new silver Proton Alza. Without any delay, he installed a cool set of skirting on his basic auto Alza, making it look sportier. The photos were taken last Saturday at our folks home. Budeen requested me to park my car side by side with his. He wanted to make a quick visual comparison of Proton Exora and Perodua Alza.

So, does size matter?

It depends on the size of your family, not your belly!!! Hahaha…. I’ve got 6 (3 children) in the house while Budeen have 4 (including 2 infants). Hence, I need the masculinity in size of Exora. Budeen in the other hand don’t need the space as much as me. He need to get “productive” first, then only he may consider getting Toyota Aphard.
